In honor of the 100th Anniversary of Women's Suffrage, WSKG presents this celebration about influential women and events in New York State. Featured is Belva Lockwood, a former Owego resident who went on to become the first female lawyer to argue in front of the United States Supreme Court and also the first woman to run for President of the United States twice in 1884 and 1888.
